Goolwa Animal Farm is a 12 acre, family run farm which provides a fun and relaxing day out for the whole Family. There are typical farm animals but also kangaroos, emus, alpacas, donkeys, ponies, mini-pigs, potoroos, sugar gliders, canaries, turtles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chicks, ducks, turkeys, goats, ducks and doves.

Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Park is a large park which links Middleton and Port Elliot along the foreshore. The Encounter Bikeway runs through the Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Park. During the winter, the stretch of water between Middleton and Port Elliot known as Fisherman Bay can host Southern Right Whales during the migration period.

Horseshoe Bay is a protected swimming beach which is very popular with families during the summer holidays. You can fish from the Jetty, watch the kids play in the playground or go for a swim in this sheltered bay. Why not follow the rugged cliff around the coast and explore the little bays and beaches.

The Granite Island recreation park lies just off the coast of Victor Harbor. You can easily walk there although many visitors prefer to take the Granite Island tram, a double decker horse drawn carriage that has operated since 1894. When you arrive at the Granite Island recreation park you will find plenty of  things to do including the Encounter Marine Park, Penguin Interpretive Centre, Restaurant, Kaiki Walk & Big Duck Boat Tours.

Located in the Port Elliot showgrounds, the Southern Fleurieu Historical Museum has an agricultural focused collection as well as a lot of general history items including a sulky that brought one of the first young married couples to Mount Compass.

The South Australian Whale Centre has a number of interactive exhibits including audio visual displays, artefacts, cinema and plenty more. You will learn about Cetaceans,  whaling history and a wide range of local marine creatures including the pride of Victor Harbor, our annual visitors the Southern Right Whales.

The Family Boutique Winery specialises in producing a range unique to Victor Harbor , including a variety of premium cool climate red, white and fortified wines all made from their estate vineyards. The Cellar Door and Mont Rosa Restaurant have been purpose built to cater for visitors including full facilities for disabled persons. The restaurant facility is available for functions.
